Search Queries
A name or place entered in a search tool is sent directly to the outside company that operates that tool. The provider processes the query and supplies its results. We do not keep a separate log of those search terms.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email may be retained long enough to respond and maintain the related exchange. It remains within our organization unless disclosure is required by a valid legal duty.
Data We Gather Automatically
When a page loads, servers may receive routine technical details about that visit:

No Criminal-Record Data on File
Hall County Criminal History does not keep, compile, or sell a database of personal criminal records. Its content identifies how to request Hall County material from the sheriff, courts, Texas DPS, and Texas Public Sex Offender Registry. Visitor data is not assembled into a consumer report or a third-party criminal dossier, and this site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies provide the search boxes. Information submitted to a tool is governed by that provider's privacy policy. Each partner sets its own retention and disclosure terms, which are beyond our control. Read those terms before running a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to sheriff pages, courts, Texas agencies, legal resources, or outside search tools. Once a visitor follows an external link, the destination's policy applies. Review it before providing personal information.
Some advertising providers may measure activity across websites for targeted advertising. That processing occurs within their systems.
Who Might See Your Data
Personal data is not sold. Limited information may be received by:
